ANZET 2025

How to enter
Submit a 250-word interventional abstract via the online form and select the relevant option during the submission process.

Eligibility criteria

  • Authors must be early career interventionists, either a fellow in training or a consultant within 5 years of fellowship.
  • Authors must be a member of CSANZ or have submitted an application for membership by the submission deadline.
  • Abstracts must relate to a body of original research in interventional cardiology (i.e. not a case presentation).
  • Abstracts must not exceed 250 words and this will be strictly enforced; longer abstracts will be rejected without further consideration.
  • Your abstract should also satisfy all other abstract requirements and policies. 

Closing date
Submissions for the Early Career Research Award close at the same time as interventional abstract submissions, on Wednesday 5 March 2025.

Finalist selection 
Three finalists will be selected to present at the ANZET Meeting with notifications being sent at the same time as general abstract acceptance notifications. 

Presentation format and judging criteria
Finalist presentations will be in the format of 10 minutes for the presentation and 5 minutes for questions.

Finalist presentations will be judged on the following criteria:

  • Content of presentation/educational value of case
  • Quality of presentation
  • Ability to respond to questions related to the presentation
