Dr. Eugene B. Wu is a consultant interventional cardiologist at the Prince of Wales Hospital, Chinese University Hong Kong. He is the director of the cardiovascular interventional Centre at his hospital. He’s the founding director of the Hong Kong Society of Transcatheter Endovascular Therapeutics (HKSTENT) and the founding director of the Asia Pacific CTO Club (APCTO Club). He completed his medical education at the Guy’s King’s St Thomas’ Medical School, University of London. He obtained his doctorate at the University of London at Saint Thomas’ Hospital and completed his cardiology training at the Prince of Wales Hospital in Hong Kong. He did his interventional cardiology training at Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Harvard Medical School, Boston. Dr Wu has published widely on CTO intervention, particularly with new techniques for retrograde CTO PCI with new algorithms for both APCTO and global CTO a new methodology for 3-D wiring.
